Thank you, Christopher. The pirate solution to chidren's poor behavior has become the screensaver at Doug Miller's book store on Mt. Pleasant. We specialize in out of print children's books.
I'd like to walk a few of the parents off the plank, too. LOL
Overlooking gorgeous Granada in Andalucia, these Moorish palaces date from the 11th to 14th centuries. Along with the Generalife gardens, worth more than a day's visit (we took two, and returned later one evening to watch Flamenco in Carlos V's gaudy Renaissance palace).
Three summer vacations, three Guggenheims: Venice, New York, Bilbao. The above shot is of Pistachio Curd topped with Coffee Extract (eaten at Martin Berasategui's restaurant in the Guggenheim Bilbao).
Lowest of the Low at the Phoenix Concert Theatre on September 30, and at the Mod Club on December 18, 2004. (Click link at the bottom of page to enter gallery.)
